I made it back out to the old school house today for about 3 hours. I had company coming that didn't show but at least called. While hunting I had a VDI today the rang from 65 to 85 that I almost didn't dig figuring it was another old nail at 6 inches, but I'm glad I did. It was a pocket spill of a different kind. In the hole was an old pocket knife with a 59 Rosie next to it. Goes to show that it's not always a nail when you dig it. I also found a 1917 and a 57 wheatie, a spoon,( Kind off funny. Every time I dig spoon now I think of Stealth Diggers on Youtube.) brass button and some weird rock or melted metal that rang in at 89. Any ideas? I guess some kid could of had in his pocket and brought it from any state. (If it's a rock.) Clad 1 quarter, 2 dimes and 2 Lincolns.

Funny you mention Stealth Diggers , I love those guys and its also the first thing I think of when I dig a spoon

Yeah watch them all the time.

Very nice ones again proves if you don't dig you don't find

Glad you got back out and the rain made some signals sing for you. I guess you couldn't talk the wife into digging those holes for you

No Tyler she wouldn't go for it. She just waits till I get home to sort through the goodies. She has claimed a few of the rings. LOL

Sometimes it's just a fun to dig quality over quantity. I consider a skunk is a day I don't at least pull a wheat penny. You got the wheat & also pulled a sweet silver Rosie. Congrats on a good hunt and enjoying the hobby. :occasion14:

Always enjoy a day out hunting. You can never tell what's waiting in the next hole.

Sounds very very familiar. Hand stuck out when I come in the door smiling.

Any silver works!!!!!! Nice!

Nice digs. Love to find silver.

Well done. Any day a silver coin shows up, is a good day! Congrats.
