Got out early this morning for a day in the mud,man what a sloppy place.Did manage a 1902 Barber Half,1941 Washington,1838 Seated,and,a 1901 V Nickle.Still running the Sled Dogs. Jason [oxbowbarefoot]took over after I left,that boy is a diehard for sure,stayed last nite till 10:30! God Bless Chris

Nah,they run at a constant speed as the dogs pull.

It was gone in short order.Last year it snowed twice,good hunting weather too!!

I tried that area you hit today. I wasn't as lucky as you, but I did manage a handful of buttons and a couple more Indians. My silver streak finally ended at 9 trips to the fields! A new record for me. The area you were in was one of the first areas I detected down there, I must have pulled a 5 gallon bucket full of can slaw out, I'm glad to see it paid off. The ground firmed up nicely as night fell. No more clumping mud on my boots or coil. Just frozen toes and fingers.
