Backyard finds for 2/10/08

My second time using my Md. I found a 1980 dime a 1964 50 cent piece I think a button and maybe a hinge of some sort.The button is about the size of a quarter and has threads on the back.It also says warranted superior has a eagle on it and a pat. date I can barley make out Dec. 27 188_ any help with the items would be great. HH

Congrats on the cool finds.The button type thing with threads is to keep the saw blade in a handsaw.I found one exactly the same at a ww1 site I;ve been pounding for 4 years.HH..Panz
