Well I left work today and figured i would get a couple of hours of hunting in before the sun went down. I headed to a park I had never hunted before and started up. It started out well found a penny, second signal was a toy gun that a mower had chewed up bad. Next signal was a twist top. First piece of trash. Fourth signal I got was for another penny about 4-6 inches deep I dug down and found a wheatie 1926 very nice. I rescanned the hole and got another signal and pulled another wheatie 1953. At this point I and very happy and getting a confident feeling this was all within the first 6-8 feet of the parking lot. I fill the hole back in and just then it started to pour down rain. Damn! Well I think I may go back there tomarrow to hunt somemore.

rain might get the signals going for ya.

sure glad you got those wheaties dug before the rain started....have the clouds cleared yet?? Gotta go find the rest! :D

StLH - Sure there's more waiting for you when you go back. That's pretty good right from the gate.

Don't think about hunting, just do it.
