I found this 1824-27Half cent Token and large Dandy button at a colonial site this weekend....it seems like I've seen one before but I cant find any info on it online. Three coin appearance with what looks like Latin writing..? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks

The top of it seems broken off hinting it might have been a medallion for a necklace :dontknow:

Nice coin, it has travelled along way. Here is the info you need, look on the back to see where the plow handle is pointing, that will tell the date, I hope this helps. Brian C.

A button with coins on it. Interesting.

I knew I had seen the coin somewhere: I have a couple of them. Bought a large parcel of Canadian tokens of various kinds, and there were a couple of those. Cool.

I am no button expert but maybe those are coins on there check the back and see if there are any marks opposite the three coins so maybe u could tell if they were added later cuz the thing looks hand hammered perhaps u could match them some how
