Well, me and Mastereagle took off to hunt a place I had some (very little) success. The house is old and has a large yard surrounded by a rock wall. I got there and went to talk to the homeowner. I wasn't sure he would want us starting since it was already pretty dark. He was unaffected and told us to go ahead. Just then he saw Mastereagles hulking 6'4" frame standing out by the street with his headlight on. He shrieked, "Holy H*ll!....Who parked the Lighthouse in my yard?" I calmly explained that is was Mastereagle and threw a dirt clod at him to make him move. The guy walked backwards into his house and we started detecting.

Most of the night, I didn't find much. I managed a series of five games tokens, a ShowBiz Pizza Token, and a Large Florida Pool Products Token. I got a Printers Block, and Jewelry Dog Pendant in clear Acrylic and some Matchbox cars. I also found a key, and a 1910 or 1918 wheatie. The "Lighthouse" found a 1910 Barber Dime and a Cool Paper Fastener Tin Lid, as well as some other neat stuff. He was still complaining about not finding an Indian Head Penny before the last hunt of the season. I punched his 'light' out.

Here are the pics:

The tokens:

Dog Pendant of some kind.

The Printers Block Says: "turning with outstretching hands and"

This actually says 1917 on the back. It is a Truck Bed and Fender...what's left of it. I know it looks like the 9 is a 3...but the pic just makes it look that way.

Finally, I found a button back that reads Treble Gilt Rich Orange.

Anyone know anything about this?????

Yeah, he actually was a little bit wider than a lighthouse...but I can see how the homeowner thought that. ;D

Thanks for stopping by. :-*

Baldingboy,
Most bodasious finds. Like that dog thing-a-bob.

Congrats BB,
That Showtime Pizza token is actually a pre-ChuckE Cheese I'm pretty sure. Nick will be jealous of that find. :tard: ;D
Your button should be mid-1800's at least.
Great job.
Hilarious story about the "Lighthouse". ;D

Lot of digging there BB and you do have some terrific finds.Even though you guys were separated at birth,I'm glad you have found each other again.

Those are some great finds....I would think a lighthouse would come in handy for night hunting!

;DLMAO....coffee everywhere :laughing3: :laughing3: :laughing3: :laughing3:

Nice Finds there BB!

Still laughing about the "Lighthouse". Can he set his headlamp to flash on and off? Man, that would really finish the effect! I'm sure if he spun around and around he would probably get dizzy and fall down.

I hope you sell many prints. For anyone that hasn't looked at the link at the top of the post, do it now. Very cool.
I keep looking for a zipper pull in the print. Am I just missing it, or did ME take it?

You just missed it...he hid it well lol In the green writing that says ORIGINAL.....look just above and very slightly to the left of the I

Great finds and a GREAT place to go hunt. I still cannot understand why BB took flowers to the MALE homeowner :icon_scratch: ::)

I was so EXCITED about the BARBER. I do want to find an Indian Head before the year is up and I am not done hunting yet. The ground still isn't frozen. BB says it's too cold and his skin is getting chapped from the cold weather, so he may be done...

You found some great stuff. That button is cool and I have YET to find any printing blocks and I think you have several. Also your machine loves buttons and mine, not so much!

Thanks for taking me to this place it was awesome and we need to hunt it again.

And yes my headlight does have a flashing mode on it so maybe I should use that... ::)

:D Tom! :D Well, sounds like you two had another adventurous hunt! :D Love that printing block. And you know it's bound to warm up another day or two up there so's yall can keep hunting.
