Went back to the old baseball field this afternoon i have been working and it did not disappoint. Total coin take was 15 indian head pennies and two seated liberty dimes. Also found

That is just amazing. I went to a ball field today and got 3.75 in clad...but no old coins. Then got permission to check and 1850's Quaker church...I struck out but my buddy did find an 1883 Indian Head. I'd be doing a happy dance for just one of them bad boys....congrats!

that 1871 Ih is a nice year!! what are all the dates on the other IH's? nice seated also!! MR TUFF

That's an incredible amount of IH's and the silver is not too shabby either.

This ball field was active in the late 1800s, now its just woods.

Great research info on the old ball field and great finds to top it off! :notworthy:

Congrats,
Dave

Great finds! I hunted a 100+ y.o. ballfield, but still in use today, my all-time favorite spot, lots of old coinage. Your silvers are excellent, I'd be camping out in that woods! ffd
