The manager at a regional bank I opened an account with a few weeks ago called this morning saying he had some bags off their coin counter if I wanted to buy them. I bought 5 bags from them; 3 bags of pennies ($25ea), 1 bag of quarters ($500) and 1 bag of dimes ($500).
Quarter bag was a skunk.
Dime bag had 7 silver Rosies.
I don't do pennies, saved those for the wife.
I'm going to get the dimes as often as I can. They said the half bag had about $180 in it and fills up at $500, I may have to fill that up just to get them.
They also said they could order me bags of half dollars and not rolls. They said they get the bags from a different bank (national bank). I regularly order halves from this other bank and get them in rolls, I wonder why they'd only get them in bags. I actually also ordered 4 boxes from a different branch of this regional bank and they did come in rolled boxes.
