I got out today with the twin Zoysters. A beautiful day to detect at a new colonial site. After I secured permission with the gracious husband and wife landowners we got to doing what we do best. Kyles research led us to another potential coppa windfall. We were swinging for no more than 15 minutes when I got the Q on quarter reading that for us usually means large coppa. In stead I was instantly brought back in time When the Zoysters were about 5 years old and I used to detect with the origin of our obsession my brother Kevin. We were all about silver. It didn't matter so much how old as long as it was silver.Around 1990 I would have danced a jig for what I just dug up. Don't get me wrong I still like 1900 's quarters it's just that where we live there is no reason why anyone shouldn't be after those Johnny Walter target 1700's silver. Still it is always good to find large silver.Kyle,Kirk and I were uuting away a mile a minute today but didn't find a colonial coin. I did find this cool target what I think is a watch fob. Happy swingin people
