Haven't been out much lately but my buddy and I got out for a couple hours today. We stopped at a house and secured permission to hunt a foundation on the periphery of the homeowners property. We were thinking this was an old home foundation but the finds we were making seemed to be more out building related... buckles, a lot of junk iron, horseshoes, etc. I was able to find a nice small size crotal bell here at only 2 inches deep. I began to hunt the path from this foundation that winds its way back to the main house and located a few things as follows... 2 mercury dimes, 1919 and 1920, a 1926 buffalo nickel, 2 suspender buckles, a lead slug exactly the size of a U.S. nickel and a couple of buttons. As I was nearing the house I got a solid 80 VDI hit on my DFX pinpointing at 6 inches deep. Turned up a 1916 barber dime.

We didn't even hunt the main house area. We decided to save that for another day. Here's a few pictures of the days recoveries. My buddy Tony dug the half of a batwing buckle. He seems to keep finding them this year. I think that's his 4th.
