I've been in a slump lately, mainly due to working too much. Tonight I was able to get out for an hour, and it started slow. I found a bit of clad, then a beat up Wheat penny. Then I got a deep sweet solid signal ringing in around 88...it stopped me in my tracks. I cut the plug carefully, and didn't rub the coin. It was 8 to 10 inches deep, and very clear (thanks AT Pro!). I could tell it was a Barber, so I did not rub it. There are some tiny scratches, I think my glove scraped against it. Anyway it's my first Barber quarter!!!

Yeah I'm lucky to live in a border town where I find an even mix of Canadian and American coins.
