Dug this at a mid 1800s foundation. Has graduated markings for Wheat, Oats,Barley and Flax. Has holes on both ends like it was mounted on something. Just not sure what its purpose was 20200419_221322.webp

Don't know for sure but my guess would be the planting adjustment plate for a grain drill. A lever would be set at one of the graduations to control the flow of seed in bushels per acre probably. Since seed are different size, they would be metered out at different settings.
