Thanks Fossis! This camera has been really good to take wildlife pictures because it has a fast shutter speed !!
And then after she takes the picture we come home and research what she took a picture of .
Very educational for all of us :icon_study:.

Good pic. Them owl's was bad medicine in my family. They meant death and bad luck. But breaking away from tradition, I believe crows are a far more bad sign! Great photos!

Thanks RGINN--we don't believe in all that "bad medicine" stuff--these are just one of God's creatures and something beautiful for my daughter to photograph.
We're glad you liked the pictures!

Thanks River Rat--we couldn't have asked for a better shot. He sat there for the longest time so my daughter had the opportunity to get some good pictures.
She has been taking all her wildlife and bird pictures and creating DVD's with music and it makes quite a slideshow..
Thanks for the comments!

That owl is like decoration for the tree.
He thought he was camoflauged! It was a beautiful bird and something that you don't see very often in the daytime.
thanks for the comments, plehbah!

Great pic! Listen to him when he calls- "who? Who? who-cooks-for-you?"

Naturegirl--I tried to "hoot" at him to get him to turn his head for another pic. but I don't think he was too "impressed" , cause he flew off ;D. It was amazing to see him in the daytime, though.
