I have had no luck in figuring out just what this piece is about. I can see that it has a couple bent "tabs" on the back and I think it may have been worn on a strap or something? I tried looking through several baseball memorabilia sites and made a trip to the library with no results. (It's a little larger than a quarter)

Anyone here have any ideas?

Thanks for any help on this one!

Didn't think of that one. Sounds like a possibility! Thanks!

Nice find. I found a smokey bear ring (that i sold on ebay), kind of reminds me of that, except the bands were thinner, more ring-like on mine, but it could be a toy ring.

Judging from the size of the slides on the reverse side, it is possible that this may be a Cub Scout or Boy Scout neckerchief slide. Not all slides were official BSA, and it wouldn't surprise me if some young man wore this in place of his BSA slide..

HH and Good Luck!!
