Basically skunked on dimes

I picked up $80 in dimes yesterday and all i got was a Canada 1962, another newer Canada and a five pence....big whoop...should i stick w/ dimes because i havent gotten anything recently, or move back to halves??

Try upping the search, I wont do dimes unless its at least a box or a bag. Box being $250 and bag being $500.

Most often you will find 0 to 3 dimes per box from my experience. I did a box the other day and got 3 and considered myself lucky. The box i did last week was a skunk. The bag of $500 I did the week before, I got 2 out of the whole mess.

$80 is only 1/3 of a box. The odds were you would find nothing Or just fine 1

id keep plugging away, if you keep looking you will find something.

I've been skunked on the last 5 boxes of dimes that I've done. But I have only been doing edge checks.

i think JD hit it right on..... quanity....... bought a bag out of the vault monday, $577.00, i am half way thru it at this point and 7 silver dimes and a bunch of 'foolers' those silver edge modern canadian dimes. they always get my silver count up to be tossed back down when edge searching. that and a couple of forieng coins , a trinabad/tobago coin i didnt have yet........ hh
