That is not a happy story, but one they will remember for the rest of their lives. The only thing that could make it worse is if a fish grabbed it and went out to sea, later to be eaten by a shark. That ring may never be found..

At least the story following that one was good. You have to love "Brides Gone Wild."

Sometimes things get lost in places where they're most likely going to stay lost. I think a boulder built jetty is probably one of those places.

Thanks for stirring my interest in a story which I heard from an old workmate a few years ago;
apparently a Blonde Bimbo - as he described her
( OK - I'm an Old, White Haired Man)
lost a ring worth several tens of thousands dollars while swimming in the surf on Beach X.
which is a couple of hours drive away.
Am I tempted - Yes
Am I serious - No
