Hello Forum,

Can anyone help me identify the age of this key fob? I know it's old, and it was found at ten inches deep, but with no date on it it is difficult to tell exactly. It would be great to find a catalog, or some record that shows this. There is a lot of information about the company including pictures on the net, but still hard to date it. Thanks for looking.

Most likely, the time frame for your fob is between 1882 and Aug.1, 1918; the first date it when RDC was founded; the second date is when the NY and Kentucky DC took over the assets of the RDC--as cited on page 164 here:

It looks to me like other items from the 1890-1920 period, that's my guess.
