Will be MDing the old battlefield in Bound Brook in NJ in the spring. Has anyone here ever searched there?

Hello,
I would like to but what area are you looking at because there might of been an archaeological search done all ready. I am involved in a few organizations that is local and also know one of the most well know archaeologist in NJ that wrote about the American revolution in NJ and doing digs. Staats house has had some digs on it all ready. let me know and we can try to figure out some plans as I am very interested in the american revolution and looking for sites. there were alot of little skirmishes all throughout the area and i have some information of the battles but the exact sites are tougher.

I have been searching a huge wooded area in North Jersey all virgin land all I am coming up with area 1920's 1930's Sears Roebuck shot gun shells and 1930 to 1940 beer and soda bottles.

Bound Brook great area to search but keep in mind while researching that area has probably flooded a 100 times since the Revolutionary war which alot of relics may have been swept away.
