We recently had a minor remodel & everything ended up in my relic room. After cleaning it back up I came across some brokes from Pasco & Hillsborough County. The reason I'm posting them is to show off the Bay Bottom chert. It's some of my favorite Florida material. The 2 on the left would have been true smokers.

Middle top piece is like conglomerate??? The right three pieces are classic. Oooh that white patina on that bottom piece, tho!! Upper right would be "classic" baybottom here. Thx for sharing woi Paleo boys sure loved that material around tampa bay.
LOL I can't tell those white tips are baybottom

Are you speaking while oriented with the tips pointing down?

The white tips are not Bay Bottom, they were in the box too so I posted them. They look to be coral.

Have lots of conglomerate rock bands here, have yet to find anything crafted from that material though. Thanks for sharing

Nice examples Newnan, I've always been a fan of Baybottom myself.
