Went back...of course!!!
digging for about 4 hours in the nice day, a little heat at the end, the field with thousands of shreds of pottery is HUGE!! probably around 10 acres. well we covered a lot of ground, pulled around 2 pounds of lead, and onlu got
1 little roman coin, not so good condition
1 bent fibula
1 coin of Fernando VII of 4 maravedis 1825

Lots and lots of pottery everywhere.
This place must have been a huge settlement, and whoever got there first with the MD must have been the king!
