Beach eyeball find

Got out to a beach area with a lot of history today. Didn't have any luck with the detector but I did eyeball this fossil tooth. I would appreciate it if anyone knows what it might be from and if it has any value......

4 legged critter maybe. Cow, ox, horse? Should have paid closer attention in bio class.

looks carnivorous, pleistocene era

It looks like a molar from a small horse of some type. The pointy ends are the roots of the tooth. I'd post it in the fossils section as those folks know much more than me.
