Beach Gold

I am wondering if there are claims on the beach in Alaska. Gold Beach is supposed to be very productive, I would be interested in trying it out. I am just not sure if you file claims for the beach or if they are open to anyone. Any info you could give me would be helpful.

the majority of the beachs in alska are public domain. unless like the gpaa camp thats patented land.
