Beach Hunting in Alabama

Went to Gulf Shores Alabama today to hit the beaches, found $11.88 all in clad & 4 little pieces of jewlery. There must have been a dozen other people there with detectors, But I had a feeling that they had just gotten them for Christmas & was trying them out, I helped a couple of people with theirs but they must have been some cheap walmart brand, they were really worthless it seemed!

I had so many people come up to see if I was finding anything (mostly old guys & little kids) I couldn't believe it!

Also I can't imagine what this beach will have New Years day, there are all kinds of bars there holding parties for New Years Eve! I can already picture a pile of rings!

Congrats Chris.
You did pretty well compared to the luck I've had at beaches. Lots of competition there for sure, but you only need one lucky find to make it all worth it.
If there's any New Years party bikini action on the beach be sure to get pictures.

Hey go right ahead. I found all my clad standing on the beach facing the Flora Bama. In fact if you are on the beach looking toward the Phoenix 10 condo. Start working a grid even with the wall of the condo closest to the Flora Bama. I BET you will start finding clad there. I did.

I actually live outside of Fairhope. I;m afraid Knoll Park is off limits and the authorities are very serious about it. The beach at the pier is OK and I find Indian stuff nearly everytime I go at low tide. I know another place that is better and none seems to mess with it.

Looks like you had a good day at the beach. Always like hunting at the beach, sometimes you
don't find much, but you can't beat the view and quietness.
