Beaches near Spring Hill, Fl.

Hi all,
We just moved to Spring Hill and am looking forward to working the beaches.
I have seen Pine Island and am looking for a longer beach line.

Because I do not know the area, can some one please advise me as to where to go? I realize that Clearwater has a nice beach, I am hoping for a closer area to me.

To get real nice beaches with sand and all that, you will have to go down to Clearwater or South. The beaches in your area are not so nice, compared with the sandier ones farther down. But you can get out on the shore, and do some detecting near you.
