how does this work is there speakers on it or the only beeping is on the headphones?
and can you make it more waterproof to go deeper than 25ft

it is what I have also..Only sound is from the speakers..never tried to extra waterproof mine......yet

Since it is a water detector it has no external speakers, just headphones. First to try it would void the warranty. If you need to take it deeper than 25 feet, it would be cheaper to buy another water detector like a Excal, Tiger Shark or Sand Shark, or one of the Fisher's 1280 or CZ20. Those are all good to 250 foot, way deeper than I dive.
