Cool find bud. Amazing how intricate these items were. All the way from buckles and buttons and brooches to the architecture. I look at some of the building done by the Masons and it makes me embarrassed to say I'm a builder :-)

Looks like brass, I have found a few really ornate brooches and only one with the stone still in it. Very pretty, nice finds George!

Beautiful! Looks to me like very tarnished silver. If it turns out to be silver and you decide to clean it, I would use Tarnex and a q-tip so you don't damage the stone. Or you could have it professionally cleaned.

Figured I take this opportunity to pull an "Abe" on ya, still mine isn't as nice as yours. I need to clean it better, just forgot all about it. This was found where I was at yesterday morning, last year. That is a snake and I believe, a rabbit on it. Wish I had the stone.
