Took the dogs for a walk this morning, because tomorrow it's all going to drop in temps with maybe some snow in the forecast. All summer, I was not seeing hardly any Kestrel birds, but now that it's cooler I'm seeing them almost every other day is seems. Maybe they just don't show up around here until the weather cools off?. The meadow larks are very plentiful in the field now and they form larger flocks this time of year, but they don't sing like they do in the summer time. Come Monday morning I'll be up and on the road heading into those snowcapped mountains and beyond for the week. It'll be a good 2000, plus miles of windshield time for me when it's all said and done.
