I went back to the permission today. I discovered that the house was build in 1885. I put 5 hours in and am only 40% done with the 1st pass grid. I dug wheats galore, 27 total. (1909, 11, 17, 19, 19S, 25, 27, 29x2, 29S, 30, 35D, 36x2, 40, 42, 42Dx2, 44, 46x2, 46S, 49, 51Dx3, and one unknown date). I also pulled silvers #42 & #43, a 1964 quarter and a 1941 Merc. :hello2: Pulled my 3rd ever buffalo nickle (1926), :icon_thumleft: 2 sterling silver rings, :goldtrophy: and my 3rd ever Roy Roger's Good Luck Token. :hello: I did some research on the US 312 collar insignia, it's a cool piece of history. :icon_thumright:

I would say it was the best hobby ever if I was finding great stuff like you. Wonderful job again LD. Keep it up!

Oh wow, now thats alot of targets. Looks like a really fun day. Congrats.

Nice finds, Loco. I agree with with you, it is the best hobby ever!

Great targets and great success. Keep up the digging up of history. If we don't, it'll be lost forever...Brad

Wow!!! Just freaking wow!!! You tore it up Bud. I am glad you don't live near me, wouldn't be anything left for me to dig.lol. You got enough Wheat today to feed all those Indians. And yes, this is the best hobby ever! Especially after a day like that!:thumbup:

Another beautiful day to take a relaxing day off work. You have a hot spot. Nice stuff!

Good day of hunting. Some nice saves there. One thing I like about my F5. It will tell me if it is ferrous or non ferrous (and what range, zinc silver, pull tab, etc.). Then it will tell me if it is circular or not. Hard hit if it is, fuzzy if not.

Man, you are killing it with your permissions this year. You got a lot of great stuff, let me know if you ever find some knees, I need new ones...:laughing7:.

Job well done :icon_thumright:

Great day of detecting for you, Loco Digger fits you well sir.:headbang:

That's some great spot you have, congrats on all the great saves. Hope the balance is as good to you

Congrats on the great finds!! I have to agree with it being the best hobby ever!

Great day for targets, nice going on the silvers and the 312th CI, also the cool token.

1 day early for a FULL BAG O' TREATS. I dug a similar lock--Slaymaker #7

With that many early wheat cents, I suspect you'll be finding quite a few more silver coins.

Great site with lots of signals. Clean out the top signals and go deep! I also appreciate you including the information 312th. Keep it coming!

My arm is getting tired just looking at all those finds Loco! Congrats!

Nice group of finds. 4 silvers in one hunt and all those wheats. That's a lot of targets.
Only 7 more to go to meet your yearly goal.
I think you will pull it off....

Just stopped in to peruse the finds.
You got a sweet place there LD. That property has been used!
I am betting you pull quite a few more from there.
You using your stock coil?

Good Luck on your next hunt!
