One of my customers who knows I metal Detect as a hobby brought this in for me today as a gift. It came from Louisiana. Beautifully made. I wonder how old this is? Since my detector doesn't pick up Native American goodies, I never find them. Check it out! Also any idea what tribe may of made this?

That would have been a wall hanger if the base was still there. It's hard to tell what type with the base broken and as to what tribe, that depends on where it was found in La. and it still will be hard with out the base to place it in a style and time period. It is a great gift:icon_thumleft:

It has some nice long strike marks on it Id say archaic period.
