Can someone tell me what the black vain may be it has a small white one also:heart: image.webp
 
Dunno anything about rocks but it's "vein", not vain. Sorry, but if it were me I'd want to know.

I have more questions than answers. I will say this. It looks like a sliced concretion, and the center portion has been removed, revealing the chemical activity that was going on between the layers. Interesting, but we're not getting the full story.

My guess is Milk chocolate outside, caramel and fudge on the inside.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Bjcannon! Take a look at Sub-Forums: Tennessee for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state.

I agree with Kray. It appears to be a holow concretion. I'm guessing limonite with hematite, the black. Nice contrast.
