This is Massachusetts.

I am starting to expand and find new spots. It is fun to use arcgis or Google earth together with history to plan a hunt. Recently one of the spots worked out. Didnt seem to be a spot hunted often at all. I found 7 there in 2 days last month. Today went to a usual spot but found a rather unusual peice for me.

I love this. I am starting to meet some great people along the way. Waiting for hard rain to get to some of these fields.

Nice find Chris. If you put your state of residence in your profile, by default, nobody will have to ask where your find came from. That would save everyone a few key strokes although you could continue to update your threads every single time we ask. By default, we will! :laughing7:

Super cool find! Congrats Chris!

That’s a fine looking Stark. A real beauty! It appears to be made of a granular type stone, like quartzite. I found one made of a similar lithic a year or so ago.
I like that type.
Boudreau wrote that the Stark Point was the “Big Idea”’ of the Middle Archaic.
Congrats!

Yes, I do believe its quartzite. Was stoked on this one. Thanks.
