Okay, awkward greeting is a go! I'm new to coin roll hunting, and want to start metal detecting sometime soon. Anyone know the best place to get a used metal detector for $30 or less? I'm leaving the state at the beginning of November, so I don't want to spend $100+ on something that's just going to get left behind.

Also, I have a couple coins of interest that I've found so far, and could really use a second opinion on their worth. They're both at the top of the What's it Worth section.

Roll totals so far:
Wheats: 100+
Indian Heads: 10
Seagulls: 0
Mercury Dimes: 6
Barber Dimes: 0
Seated Dimes: 1

... yeah, I guess that's awkward enough. *nods in satisfaction*

Welcome, you can find some used detectors on Craigslist for under $200 in most cities. They aren't great units, but if you are going to leave it behind, that's your best choice.
