Beer stein with what looks like Arabic writing on it…I can’t find any information or anything similar…please help!

There's a fair amount of this brassware kicking around as tankards, vases, containers and other items. Some of it marked 'HH' and some of it marked 'HH AFTAB'. Some sources say it's from Southern India, but that may just be where the exporter was based. I suspect it was made in Moradabad (aka Pital Nagri or "Brass City") in Northern India, which is the main centre for this type of handicraft.

Whatever the origin, most of the pieces seem to be from the first half of the 20th Century (pre-WWII) and of no great value.
