Based upon the bottle caps you dig up - what would you say is the number one beer drunk at the beach?

I think one reason there seems to be more Corona caps than others is, it needs an opener. With a twist top, the cap is already in your hand. Simple to just toss it in a trash bag. With an opener, sometimes the cap drops or goes flying and people just don't bother to track it down.

Bud light & Bud light Lime. I'm at the point now, I just toss the caps in my mesh trash bag & move on without looking. Pull tabs are what really irk me!

As a kid i used to collect bottle caps to include soda but now i do not,, i do not beach hunt but i find lot of bud ,sam adams and yeling or how ever it is spelled

Corona is definitely the beer of choice of the beach beer drinking slobs.

for some reason, Corona caps get me every time! Usually around 6-8" in the dry sand.

I found one of the rare good caps last week on the beach it had a full bottle of Stone IPA attached to it, a local brewery here in San Diego county Cool bottle with a Gargoyle on it. For the survey I'd say a tossup between the Aluminum Miller High Life Twist offs and Corona.

It used to be bud, miller and Heineken, things are changing with all the micro breweries and it is all over the place now. MGD is my favorite.

90% of the caps I've dug on the MS Gulf Coast are Michelob Ultra.
