Before you dig in unthawed ground, have some courtesy.

I know some of us in the Midwest, North and Northeast have the bug pretty bad.

But the fact is, when you dig in grass that isn't totally thawed and given a chance to start growing properly, you damage it and leave brown spots.

This may irritate you and you may think that I am standing in the way of a few dirty pennies and a ring or two, but keep in mind that we are all ambassadors of our hobby.

A few weeks won't kill you.

Please be considerate, there is enough for everybody.

Its a good point. I actually thought about that right after I got starting with a MD (a few weeks ago). Consequently I'm hunting on dirt trails instead of anywhere with grass. It's worked out well too. (at least I've found some stuff)
