Bent window arm or shutter bracket?

All, I dug this iron artifact near a home built in the 1820s and occupied ever since. It was once a farm house but has been part of suburbia since the 1950s.

My first impression is that it is a bent window arm or shutter bracket because the holes at either end are 90 degrees out from each other. Maybe even a handle of some sort. What do you it is and how old?

Thats a hard one I would guess it came off a piece of farm equipment . I bet someone will know......Tommy

looks like part of a gate hinge almost. any evidence of holes for nails that might be rusted shut?

Tpmetal, thanks for chiming in. I re-examined and didn't see any evidence of holes for nails. Of note, in the last picture and at the right end of the 4th it is flattened off on purpose.
