Bergman sculpture?

Not sure if this is Franz Bergman......found this laying on the sidewalk for a buck

Well looking at the work of this sculpture Franz Bergman I'd say it's not. This piece here doesn't look to have the fine detail I'm seeing this Bergman artist has produced imo. But I really can't say for sure. This thing looks like a bronze color paint over a spelter metal casting. I'd guess I'd call it a faux bronze sculpture.

Bergman was not a sculptor, he owned the foundry that employed many sculptors who attached the Bergman mark to their works:

If this work were created by someone in his employ, that would age the work to the 20s or 30s.
