Besides gold in the old pan i got a Long Necked Tortoise too

Hi all, Few showers today and bit chilly. Sun came out for few hours this afternoon. So i decided i needed a change . Yep grabbed a shovel and the old gold pan ,headed down to the local creek. never find any big gold but plenty of small colour to be had in the deep wash holes.So i got a few specks and a Longnecked Tortoise. Didn,t see it when i dug a shovel full of wash and put the wash in the pan. Movement got my attention straight away . Protected by law , so i put him into another wash hole next to the one i was panning. Interesting find
