Hi all,
Stopped at BoA today and picked up my weekly box of pennies. I wasn't having luck with the plastic wrapped ones I get at my other bank(First Charter) and decided to get the paper wrapped ones from N.F. String & Son. Keep in mind, these were NOT handwrapped, but machine wrapped. I got:
1916(3),1919(3),1920,1924,1929(2),1936, 1941(2),1942, 1944,1944d,1946(2), 1950(3), 1950d(3), 1950s(7),1951,1951d(3),1951s(4),1952,1952d,1952s,1953,1955d,1957. An astounding 45 wheaties!
The 1944 and one of the 1946 looked like they had just came from a mint wrapper.
Also found 4 Canadian- 1968,1972,1982 and 1986. Also a 2004 Commonwealth of the Bahamas One Cent coin.
Guess where I'm going back to tomorrow?
