That is a good question, I hunt bi metal Coins, because on their native ground there are so many more of them to be found, The stock coil doesn't contribute anything to detect them in any kind of discrimination mode, so maybe another coil would...
I'll bet the older material from a few years back would answer your question.

The SOV is definitely one of a kind and very effective on US coins.

The modern remaining SOV GT crowd are mostly good old boys that are particularly paranoid about sharing knowledge and experience that has taken them 18 years and the majority of their Social Security checks to earn, so don't expect too much in the way of an answer
