I do cent boxes from time to time to mix it up from the dimes and halves. Done nearly 50 boxes in my "career" with the most I've ever pulled being 47. I'd say I average about 12 wheats per box. One Indian Head that entire time, a 1903 in great shape.
Well, yesterday's String & Son box from my local BofA netted me a whopping 71 wheats. All common dates, mostly from the 40s-50s, with a 1938D, 2 1935s and a 1927 thrown in. Pretty astonishing number overall, I wonder if someone dumped their wheat collection and it all got siphoned into that box.
