Best Coin Rolls for Foriegn Coins?

I dunno about other denominations, but I find a buch of foreign in half dollar rolls. English pennies, australian pennies, Irish punts, Fiji 20 cents, and yes, a Canadian half. All are about the same size as our halves.

I would say it's pennies, with nickels a close second.

My hunting has been almost exclusively slot machines since the mid-80s and in that time I've found coins from 16 different countries besides Canada.

Penny machines have produced coins from nine foreign places: Austria (2 euro cents), the Bahamas (cent), Barbados (cent), Bermuda (cent), Germany (2 pfennig), Guatemala (centavo), Jamaica (5 cents), Mexico (5 centavos) & Panama (centesimo).

Nickels have produced six: Aruba (casino token), Belgium (franc), Ireland (10 pence), Saudi Arabia (10 halala), Singapore (20 cents) & Switzerland (10 rappen).

Halves have only produced one so far, an Australian 20 cents.

Considering slot machines' sophisticated mechanisms, it's amazing foreign coins can still fool them.

I vote Dimes . I used to search a couple hundred dollars a week, and almost every batch had
foreign coins. All very nice and shiny too. Ive hunted WAY more halves, by the 1000.00 per week,
and not a foreign coin yet.

Good luck :)

I have found the most in halves. The last 500.00 batch I looked thru I ended up with one mexican peso and a coin that looks like it came from Thailand or nearby there.

I only search halves and have found 1 1959 Canada half, 4 Great Briton pennies 1915 being the oldest,1 Panama 1/2 Balboa, 3 Mexico 1 Peso, and 1 Costa Rica 20 Colones.

I have found non-canadian foreign coins in all roll denominations except dollars (probably only because I have never searched them).
Highest percentage for me is in nickels so far this year with 1 in every 75 rolls.
I would say the following order for me: nickels, pennies, dimes, quarters, halves, (dollars?)
