Hi all. I don't post much because most of my finds are pretty common. a few wheats and indians here and there with the occasional silver popping up from time to time. i deliver meals on wheels once a week and was talking to an older gentleman this week. he informed me that his property used to be a school that was shut down in the 50s. no one had ever detected it and i was welcome to give it a go. well today i tried it for 2 hours. just to hot and muggy to stay any longer. i ended the hunt with 26 wheats-16-54d-46x2-56d-44x3-45-50d-42x2-37-53dx2-52d-27-47s-40x3-19d-30-20x2-and 1910. 2 indians 1902 and 1906. a 1943p and 1944p war nickle--a 1959 rosie -a 1944 merc and my first ever franklin a 1954s. also a good luck charm from OLD DRUM brand blended whisky out of new york.
I have about another acre on this track to search then on to the first public school in this town. he owns that property to and its also virgin. now all we need is some rain and cooler weather. also got a 1927 1frac. don't know how that got there

What a hoot! Nice finds. I hope you get some silver singing rain soon.

Also thanks for the helping hand for those you care for by delivering the meals!

All that on the first day, and another acre to go? Proves talking to old folks helps put the silver in the pockets! Great finds!

Ummm, Meal On Wheels as a research tool?
