Best day in 3 years!

Hubby and I hit up a empty lot where houses used to be back in the 1920s. It was really dry since we haven't had rain. After about 45 minutes and only a penny found I was thinking someone beat us to it. Just then I got a clear high signal and dug up my very first Mercury Dime and next to it was a wheat penny from 1916. My oldest wheat to date. I was elated. I kept going excited about the prospect of finding more silver. Searched for another 30 minutes and found nothing but trash. I was about to give up when I got another strong signal. It was about 6 inches deep. I dug and dug and finally unearthed a beautiful, shiny silver quarter! I couldn't believe that I found my first silver and got 2 coins at that. I was really sick with a sinus infection and the heat about killed me, but it was worth it!

That sure looks like you'll have a whole lot of motivation towards your next hunt! Sometimes you go through long slumps. Out of a 4 hour hunt today I found one quarter. At least it wasn't 2 zincolns again!

And then you find something nice - looks like you sure did today! Over two years is a long wait for silver coins! You've broken through the barrier now, and congratulations!
