Yesterday I was down at think hole not expecting to find anything. It's been pretty slim pickings lately and gets frustrating. But I managed to recover two pontiled umbrella inks god I love finding these. The new England green one is the third I have dug here. But this one is absolutely perfect and has a very wonky expanded lip finish. The second one is a slight apple green color but it's a shame the lip is damaged. But hell I'll take it. This made my weekend. Thanks for looking- Justin

Absolutely awesome finds, Justin. Hey I've been wondering, I know that your previous stellar finds keep you coming back for more at this spot, but how many hours goes into finding these two inks? Obviously hard work definitely pays off, but it's always hard for me to keep my energy after a few hours of nothing.

Thank you. I actually found the olive green one in the first five minutes of digging but it took three hours to find the damaged one. I've been digging this dump for a little over four years now. I always come back . I'm just realizing now it so much deeper then I thought but the finds are very sporadic.

I bet that first ink really pumped you up! I just need to buckle down for like a whole day at one of my spots and persevere. Never got anything whole but lots of pontiled shards at this one spot. Can be very frustrating though.

I completely understand you may dig a ton of shards but if you persist you will definitely find a jewel.

Congratulations on these two drop-dead gorgeous inks. It's good to see you back again, man. 'Seems like we haven't heard from you in a while.

That spot by the water...something about it just looks so...old. It looks so haunted, even in that daylight. It gives me some peculiar feeling like some lost ghost would dangle in the fog there when nobody was around. Anyway, it's almost no surprise that these freakishly beautiful gems came out of the ground there. It all just makes sense for some reason.

Thank you njklagt. This spot is a littl creepy it was a tavern between 1783- 1847 and then the whole area was wiped away by the flood of 1955 it was tragic it destroyed the town and killed many.

What a pair of beauties. I wouldn't know how to act if I found something like that.

Wow, I had no idea. You'll have continued success, then.

The color in both of these is just great. Man that whole one just has all the characteristics of a nice piece. Really sorry about the damaged one, that color is also fantastic. One thing is for sure, these folks were definitely literate!

Great inks. I am sure there is more to come.

Man I would love to find an ink like that, Congrats!!!!!

Beautiful inks, I would have dug many hours to find only one. Best of luck for others finds!
