Found it foot walking eh? Hopefully you did not find it with your foot. . . ouch Have you ever gone back to that area ( if it has not been built over ) to see what else you may find?

Bogeymcq, Yeah with my foot, about two inches was above the ground and that is all that was needed to put me on the ground. I did go back, they had built a house in the area I found it so I scanned the surrounding woods and only found trash. I will try again some day.

Have to believe it was shot from a ship right?? Im just plain ignorant when i comes to this stuff (stuff= our nations history). I am used to reading about 3 and 6 LB balls, that thing is huge!!!!

Just think how many folks would have walked past that one, beeping in their ears, (me for one)!!!
