Picked up a box of halves today, found a clad '95S, 3 NIFC's, a 1960/1980 stamped and plated half, and a holed half; which clearly makes this my best GA box to date. Sadly no silver but still had a little variety in it which keeps it interesting. The good news is today I found a bank very near to my work that will accept bags. I've been waiting to find a bag dump location which I did today so I can get a few boxes on order (scheduled to come in on Thursday) and get the AG flowing again. I found 0.0 oz of AG from Jan - Apr, I found about 108 oz from May - Oct, and have found 0.3 oz in November and December including 0.0 oz in my new home sate of GA. You central VA hunters should have a little more Ag to split amongst yourselves. That said I'm finally settled into my house (hard to volume hunt out of the hotel), have a supply bank ordering and have a bag dump set up with a roll dump back up. Still haven't found a machine for the misc dumps here and there but overall today was a good day. Lot of work to do, need multiple supply and dump banks, but I feel good that I made some systemic progress.

Happy holidays. Hopefully everyone has at least a few solid rolls of old silver (or wheats or indians or buffalos) waiting for them!

I didn't start hunting until May, so I found nothing before that. On November 1st I started a new job in a new state so I haven't had time to hunt since then. Now that we're move in to the new house, family's here, I think I can get set up and start hunting again. The problem is that I'm $4,631 into GA and haven't found any Ag yet so I don't really know what the new reality is going to look like.

Thanks. I'd rather have a box full 'o silver, but I'd rather have a proof, a stamped coin and a handful of NIFC's than a box full of '95-D's.

Hey Twitch, congrats on getting settled in, I can't tell you how many times I have gone throught 5-10 thousand and found nothing, don't worry, it will show up, good luck in your new environment and Merry Christmas! HH, Maverick.

Good luck Twitch!

Like I told you when you said you were moving, the south sucks for halves, but I've found a few here and there in boxes, just keep hunting.

HH!

You appear to be right. Every state I've hunted in so far (except GA) seems to have silver laying all over it but GA is barren. I've seen 3 or 4 banks where people are dumping halves so I know there are some hunters in the area. If I can't get a halves vein going I'm going to be very disappointed. Maybe will have to turn to dimes, nickels, pennies and quarters. Good luck.

No offense intended - but when you can equate those crappy finds with a good box or a good day - maybe its time to take a break from CRH!
