How much were these worth? I'm not sure exactly but the total weight was just slightly more than 1/4 ounce so you could get an estimate by taking 25% of the spot price. I didn't convert it to grams. Nuggets usually bring a bit more than the spot gold price. I have never sold any of my gold finds, I just give them away for presents. For example two matching nuggets I made into ear rings for my daughter for Christmas. The largest one pictured I made into a pendant with a fine gold chain for my Mom for her birthday. My wife got the rest. I need to bribe her so she will let me spend lots of time with the Gold Bug.

Hey Tamrock, You can put in a lot of hours and days and come up empty handed nugget shooting but when you do find something it is exhilarating. I put in at least forty hours of hunting before I found my first nugget. HH!

Yeah I'm sure you do need to put the time in. It would be something to do as I'm out traveling at my job. Very often I have time in traveling, just to explore the countryside and look for Indian artifacts and I do pass by many old proven placer sites.
