The more you handle coins - the more you'll learn about them.
You might want to consider getting a few Harris or Whitman Coin Folders.
Starting a Penny, Nickel, Dime & Quarter collection of the coins you've found Detecting.
There only around $4.00 at a local coin shop or on the internet.
I've found 87 of the 100 (P & D)State Quarters - it's getting tough to find one I need for the folder.

I think I could dig a 100 pennies on any given hunt,this is without exageration. People don’t care if they loose them. They may even throw them where I hunt. I get tired of digging them and quit on them after awhile.
