I saw someone recently said they get 1000/wrappers for $7 shipped. Best I've found is a little north of $10. Would love to find a great source of cheap wrappers to help dump when I've worn out my weekly welcome at the only two coin counters in town.

PENNY - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Penny-Wrapp...539?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20c0354af3

NICKEL - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nickel-Wrap...123?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20c0357063

DIME - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dime-Wrappe...577?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20c0356671

HALF DOLLAR $10 Shipped - http://www.ebay.com/itm/1000-HALF-D...376?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d2b338d80

Best I can find right now.

My bank gives them free as well but they wont hand out 1000 count cases for free. Going in and asking for 100-200 rolls of dimes and quarters every other day doesnt fly either.

I usually get them free from the bank too but they limit how many they give you. I discovered a website (www.banksupplies.com - I'm not affiliated with them but did get what I thought to be a great deal) and ordered rolls in trays of 1000. I ordered 6 trays of 1000 each and with shipping I paid only $33.09 which included shipping. That comes to $5.52 per 1000. Not too bad and the quality is pretty good, too.

They also have other stuff related to our hobby like canvas bags and the plastic lock bags some folks use to return coins to their banks in but they were rather expensive in my opinion.

Thanks for that link. Coin Lok bags are much, much cheaper there than everywhere else. Bookmarked for future ordering.

OH - I thought the lock bags were pretty expensive but you do get a large quantity. I have only used the lock bags once and the bank gave me 6 of them that time so I really don't need to order any. That is good to know, though.

I usually get them free. Yes, you can rewrap in machine wrappers by picking apart the crimping and then fold it back over. Plastic rolls are the best to reroll, but you need to know how to open them without breaking them. What I do, is ask for handrolled coin, if available, and rewrap in that.

I save all my plastic wrappers from brinks boxes, put them in a bag and use them for emergency wraps. I also use them for my silver. Looking at rolls of silver dimes and quarters never looked so good as when they are in plastic and you can see them all lined up :D

You can buy some from me!! 1 penny per wrapper, minimum 10,000 wrappers, just let me know in advance, so I can call my dump bank for more wrappers.......

Hobby-Lobby or Micheals craft stores have 'em.
:headbang:

I have even made my own using brown paper grocery bags. I opened up a hand rolled wrapper, and used it as a pattern. They came out pretty good.

? odd , i get mine by going thru customer rolls and reusing the old thick ones. Not to mention any bank ive been to gives out the flat ones for free.
